We have designed this space to include lots of activities for you to explore and interact with, in your own time.
Stay up-to-date via the good newsfeed below where council will be sharing regular posts about positive things happening within the community and fun events for you to get involved in.
Connect with the community by sharing a story – do you have a positive story about a recently forged or strengthened connection with your community? Whether that be with a neighbour, a community group, or a reignited connection with the place you call home. If so, we'd love it if you could post it below via the storytelling tool below so that others within the community can read about it.
Shape your community hub
The community hub is a new project that we want you to help us shape so that it meets your needs. If you have any ideas for things you would like to see within the community hub then please let us know by submitting an idea below.

Has there been a citizen, young citizen or community group that has made a significant impact on you this year? Now you can nominate them for the 2021 Citizen of the Year Awards. These awards provide the opportunity to recognise significant achievements and contributions that have been made by outstanding residents and community groups, who make a real difference to the community. The following categories will be awarded:
- Community champion of the year
- Climate champion of the year
- Young champion of the year
We encourage you to nominate a person or community group who you believe has made a significant contribution and had a positive impact on the community.
