Share your community connection story

If there's anything that 2020 has taught us, it's that humans are built for connection and empathy.

We'd love to hear your stories about how you have forged and strengthened connections with your community - whether that be with a neighbour, a community group or just generally a reignited connection with the place you call home.

Here are a few questions that might help to spark a meaningful story...

What has been keeping you busy and connected with the community?

Have you made a new friend that you perhaps wouldn't have made without these forced circumstances?

What has this time taught you about connection?

    Parents worry

by Frankie, over 3 years ago

With a focus on the backyard and everything within a 5km radius as a family, we are noticing the subtle changes of the seasons in our immediate garden. Even the park bench we keep walking past are changing fashion with the seasons.

Drawing chalk art on the driveway
has become a big way to pass time and
connect with people walking past our house.

But something magical happened. Those regular trips to the high street started to deliver juicy hits of connection, that became sanity gold. I started to see some of the same faces every day, and conversation was... Continue reading
